Luxury brand Van Cleef & Arpels has unveiled a new addition to its renowned Alhambra jewellery collection, introducing enamel for the first time. This latest update features five yellow gold pieces adorned with a striking pink finish.
Since its inception in 1968, the Alhambra line has drawn inspiration from the classic four-leaf clover design. The newly launched enamel range includes a ten-motif necklace, a five-motif bracelet, a pendant, and earrings, each showcasing the vibrant pink hue.
The pink enamel, which was meticulously developed over several years at the Maison’s dedicated enamel workshop, employs techniques inspired by the historical “gold ruby” process from the 17th century. The resulting material exhibits a bright pink tone with a translucent quality, highlighted by gold bead bezels that frame each motif. The surface finish has been polished to enhance the interplay between the gold and the enamel.
This introduction broadens the variety of materials featured in the Alhambra collection, reflecting its evolution since the brand’s first creations.
