The Royal Mint has unveiled a fresh collection of fine jewellery, the 886 by The Royal Mint Bullion Bar Collection, that fuses its renowned precious metals investment and luxury jewellery sectors.
Designed by South Wales-based sculptor Jody Clark, the collection features pieces crafted in both sterling silver and 18-carat yellow gold. Notably, the gold components are produced using materials harvested from electronic waste, sourced from the Royal Mint’s Reformation Metals recovery facility.
Innovative manufacturing methods common in coin production, such as precision casting and advanced finishing techniques, have been adapted for this modern jewellery line. Each Britannia bullion bar in the collection also incorporates security elements standard to the Royal Mint’s bullion offerings, including latent imagery, surface animations, and micro text.

Dominic Jones, the creative director, has integrated the distinct design ethos of 886 by The Royal Mint into the Britannia Bullion Bar, thereby creating a collection that transforms the conventional boundaries between investment and fine jewellery.
