Zeon, a London-based firm that produces and distributes watches and clocks for brands like Vivienne Westwood, Braun, and Ingersoll, has reported a record-breaking financial year. For the period ending March 31, 2026, the company’s turnover rose by 10% to reach £14 million, though its operating profit remained unchanged at £1.7 million.

Simon Gilham, Zeon’s managing director, emphasized that the company’s strategy focuses on enhancing its footprint in key markets, backed by more precise and consistent commercial practices. “Our commitment to expanding our presence across priority markets has been instrumental in driving broad positive momentum across the business,” he stated.

Zeon operates as a fully-owned subsidiary of Herald Group Limited, which is based in Hong Kong. The company’s adaptability in adjusting to evolving consumer preferences and shifting market dynamics has been noteworthy, alongside other major watchmakers such as Fossil Group, Timex, Citizen Watch Company, Seiko, and Casio.

In a bid to cater to diverse consumer tastes, many brands, including Zeon with its Ingersoll line, have diversified their offerings to include mechanical watches alongside traditional quartz models. This includes an emerging trend for automatic watches priced below £400, featuring designs influenced by prestigious models like the Patek Philippe Cubitus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and Richard Mille’s RM series.

Distinctive aesthetics mark Zeon’s watch offerings, particularly for Vivienne Westwood, whose pieces often showcase the brand’s iconic symbols such as the Sovereign’s Orb. Braun, on the other hand, adheres to the Bauhaus principle of form following function, ensuring a widespread appeal with a mix of quartz watches and occasional Swiss-made automatic variants.

In the UK market, Zeon collaborates with major retailers such as Beaverbrooks and Signet Jewelers, but it is simultaneously investing in a burgeoning direct-to-consumer retail model. “We are continuing to invest in and expand our direct to consumer channels and digital platforms, strengthening the connection between our brands and the end customer,” Mr Gilham added.
