Swiss watchmaker Norqain has introduced a new limited-edition timepiece, the Freedom GMT Enjoy Life “Holiday” Limited Edition, featuring a unique incentive for travelers. This exclusive collection consists of 500 pieces, each equipped with a hidden “Golden Ticket” that grants one fortunate owner a lavish holiday for two at the Ayada Maldives.
Unveiled on 9 July, this model marks the inaugural entry in Norqain’s Enjoy Life series to incorporate a GMT function, showcasing a vibrant world map dial and travel-inspired design motifs. In addition, one of the watches will conceivably provide its owner with an extravagant six-night stay at the award-winning resort in the Maldives, including accommodations in an Ocean Villa complete with full board for two adults. The identity of the winning watch will be kept confidential until September.
The 40mm stainless steel timepiece operates on the Norqain Manufacture Calibre NN20/2, an automatic movement produced by Kenissi and COSC-certified. This movement boasts a 70-hour power reserve and a functionality aimed at simplifying time zone adjustments while travelling.
Each watch is enriched with travel-themed artistry, featuring a gradient GMT ring reminiscent of summer sunrises and sunsets, along with 24 hand-drawn “Holiday Icons” symbolising notable landmarks and vacation essentials. The date display includes whimsical icons such as flip-flops, sunglasses, and beach umbrellas throughout the calendar.
The luxurious presentation of the watch includes a customised aluminium travel case, which comes with a passport holder, a world map insert, and a tin filled with destination pins, encouraging owners to mark their travels or future aspirations.
Following the successful releases of the sold-out “Ice Cream” edition and this year’s “Sprinkles” models, the Freedom GMT Enjoy Life “Holiday” Limited Edition extends Norqain’s delightful Enjoy Life collection, with a strong focus on travel.
