The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has promoted Jo Bourne to the role of membership director.
This appointment reflects Bourne’s outstanding contribution over recent months, during which time she has taken on significant responsibility and provided invaluable support across the organisation.
Her new role formalises and expands her remit to lead both supplier and retailer engagement, ensuring a more cohesive and strategic approach to member relationships.
The promotion also represents a key structural step in strengthening the CMJ’s head office team, positioning the organisation to better support its growing portfolio of initiatives and deliver enhanced value to members.
Patrick Turner, CMJ managing director, said: “I am very pleased with this structural move. Jo’s leadership and commitment have already made a meaningful impact, and this evolution of her role will help take the CMJ to the next level as we continue to support our members and deliver on our ambitions.”
Bourne said: “Having worked closely with our members as retail membership manager for over three years, I’m excited and passionate about continuing to strengthen our community, supporting both independent retailers and suppliers and working alongside the team to build on the strong foundations already in place. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead for the group.”
