Norqain has unveiled its latest edition of the Freedom 60 Chrono, reviving its popular Enjoy Life theme with a fresh design inspired by summer ice creams. The new model features a playful dial adorned with multicoloured sprinkles, reminiscent of the toppings commonly associated with Mr Whippy ice cream.
Originally launched to significant acclaim last summer, the previous Enjoy Life Freedom 60 Chrono caught the attention of watch enthusiasts and influencers alike, leading to resale prices exceeding £6,500 at one point. Currently, it has stabilised around the retail price of £4,350, prompting Norqain to build on the initial success with this new iteration.
The updated watch maintains the light-hearted essence of summer with a case back that celebrates ice cream, reinforcing the brand’s ethos of enjoying life amid challenging times. Norqain’s founder and CEO, Ben Küffer, expressed pride in the emotional connections the previous watch engendered, stating, “The world can feel heavy with bad news, but our message is simple, life is a gift and life is short. Enjoy the freedoms you have, celebrate the good moments, treasure time with family and friends and make the most of every minute. Sometimes the simplest things bring the greatest joy.”
The Freedom 60 Chrono Enjoy Life Sprinkles features a robust 40mm stainless steel case and comes in two differing dial colours: Strawberry Pink and Blue Raspberry. Each sprinkle on the dial is enhanced with Super-LumiNova treatment, providing a luminous blue glow in low light conditions. The watch can be comfortably worn with a choice of white rubber straps or a stainless steel bracelet, and it includes a unique date window that reveals an ice cream cone every week.
Powering this timepiece is Norqain’s calibre N19, a modified Sellita SW510 automatic chronograph movement that offers a substantial 62-hour power reserve. Pricing for the new model is set between £4,650 for the bracelet version and £4,725 for the rubber strap model.
With this release, Norqain aims to continue its tradition of creativity seen in the Enjoy Life and Pizza Party lines, promoting a joyful approach to life and timekeeping through whimsical designs and community events.
