Omega has been named the Official Timekeeper for TGL, a newly established team golf league designed to introduce a quicker pace and an innovative competition structure.
This multi-year collaboration will see Omega endorse TGL’s distinctive 40-second shot clock, which highlights the importance of precision and timing in the league’s fast-paced matches.
The second season of TGL, backed by SoFi, is set to kick off on 28 December 2025, with its first live broadcast airing during prime time on ABC in the United States. The league’s events will also be available on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN+, making them accessible to audiences in over 150 countries.
The inaugural match will feature a rematch between last season’s finalists, New York Golf Club and the reigning champions, Atlanta Drive GC.
Raynald Aeschlimann, president and CEO of Omega, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Golf is a strong part of OMEGA’s sporting DNA, and we’re excited to grow our support of the game alongside TGL. Under the terms of this partnership, Omega will ensure accurate timing during TGL matches and will have a significant presence through digital and social media content.
Additionally, Omega timepieces will be displayed throughout the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida—TGL’s dedicated venue—where golf enthusiasts can experience matches as part of the league’s hospitality offerings.
Notably, TGL’s roster includes prominent Omega ambassadors, such as Rory McIlroy, representing Boston Common Golf, and Wyndham Clark of The Bay Golf Club.
Boston Common Golf will commence its season on January 2 on ESPN2, while The Bay Golf Club will make its first appearance on January 6 on ESPN.
