Sharjah is set to host the 56th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show from 24 to 28 September 2025, at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This significant international event will bring together more than 500 exhibitors hailing from 21 countries, reinforcing its status as a leading trade exhibition for gold and jewellery within the region.

Since its inception in 1993, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has evolved from a small gathering to a key fixture in the global jewellery industry calendar. Now occurring biannually, the event has successfully held over 55 editions and has become the marquee occasion of the Expo Centre Sharjah, attracting over 87,000 visitors per edition, including retailers, wholesalers, collectors, and fashion buyers.

The show is known not only for its lavish offerings but also for unique attractions that enhance visitor experiences. Previous events have included luxury giveaways, exclusive diamond displays, and notable attractions like the world’s largest gold ring. Beyond the spectacle, the exhibition serves as a vital marketplace, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship in gold, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, and luxury watches.

Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in partnership with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the upcoming edition will occupy 30,000 square metres and feature over 1,800 industry professionals, designers, and manufacturers. It will showcase a range of luxury products, from traditional goldsmithing to contemporary jewellery that aligns with modern fashion trends. Notably, first-time participants from Australia, Myanmar, and Pakistan highlight the show’s expanding international appeal, alongside national pavilions from leading jewellery-producing countries like India, Singapore, and Thailand, with Italy contributing more than 50 exhibitors.

The last edition of the show was particularly successful, attracting 87,000 visitors from 106 countries and achieving total sales of AED 105 million (around USD 28.6 million). It welcomed 1,400 professionals from 63 nations, further solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for buyers and investors in the luxury jewellery sector.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked that the show’s growth mirrors its strategic importance for the industry. He highlighted its role in connecting local entrepreneurs with global markets and fostering innovation and creativity. The 56th edition aims to provide an exclusive experience, offering insights into upcoming trends within the sector.

In addition to trade exhibitions, this year’s show will feature a robust programme of workshops and sessions designed for industry professionals. These initiatives aim to share best practices in jewellery manufacturing, providing attendees with practical knowledge to enhance their business strategies and competitive positioning. The educational aspect is a vital component, focusing on professional development and leadership within the industry.

The exhibition will welcome both trade visitors and the general public, operating from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday. With its blend of luxury, innovation, and artisan skills, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show continues to be a highly anticipated event on the regional calendar, attracting interest from around the globe.
