Sharjah is set to host the 56th Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show from 24 to 28 September 2025 at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This prestigious international exhibition is anticipated to feature over 500 exhibitors from 21 different countries, further solidifying its status as a leading event in the gold and jewellery sector within the region.
Established in 1993, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has evolved significantly from a small gathering into a pivotal fixture on the global jewellery calendar. Now held biannually, it boasts over 55 editions and has become the hallmark event for Expo Centre Sharjah, attracting upwards of 87,000 visitors per show, including retailers, wholesalers, fashion buyers, and general consumers alike.
The exhibition is renowned for its unique offerings and memorable experiences, previously showcasing remarkable attractions such as luxury vehicle giveaways, exclusive diamond pendants, and notable displays including the world’s largest gold ring. However, it also functions as a crucial commercial platform, facilitating trade and highlighting exceptional craftsmanship in gold, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, and luxury watches.
The upcoming edition is organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah in partnership with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Spanning 30,000 square metres, the event will see participation from around 1,800 designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals. Notable contributions will come from the UAE, Italy, India, Turkey, the United States, and a range of other countries including Russia, the UK, Japan, China, and Singapore. For the first time, brands from Australia, Myanmar, and Pakistan will also take part, indicating the event’s expanding global reach. National pavilions will feature prominent companies from India, Singapore, and Thailand, while Italy is expected to have over 50 exhibitors showcasing a variety of jewellery styles from traditional to modern designs.
The previous edition of the show achieved a record attendance of 87,000 visitors from 106 nations, generating sales of AED 105 million, equivalent to around USD 28.6 million. It attracted participation from 1,400 trade professionals across 63 countries, reinforcing its appeal as a prime hub for luxury jewellery companies, buyers, and investors.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, noted that the ongoing growth of the exhibition underscores its significance to the industry. He highlighted the event’s role in connecting local businesses with international opportunities, fostering innovation, and predicting upcoming trends. The aim for the 56th edition is to provide an exclusive experience enriched with insights into the evolving jewellery sector.
In addition to commercial activities, the event will feature a comprehensive schedule of workshops and industry seminars designed to disseminate best practices in gold and jewellery manufacturing. These sessions will equip attendees with practical skills to enhance their operations and competitiveness, contributing to professional development and leadership in the field.
Both trade visitors and the general public are encouraged to attend. The show will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with Friday’s hours extending from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. With its blend of luxury, innovation, and artistry, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show remains one of the most eagerly awaited events on the regional calendar, drawing interest from across the globe.
