The GPHG Academy has reduced a pool of 320 timepieces from 194 brands to a select list of 84 “Nominated Timepieces” for the upcoming 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) awards.
These nominated watches will be evaluated by a jury led by Wei Koh, the founder of Revolution magazine, who takes on this role for the first time. The jury will determine the recipients of 19 prestigious awards, with the winners being announced at a ceremony in Geneva on November 7.
Following the announcement, these selected watches will embark on a global exhibition tour. The tour will kick off in Mumbai from 28 September to 1 October, followed by stops in Bangkok from 15 to 18 October, Geneva from 29 October to 15 November, and then finishing in London from 18 to 23 November.
Several standout timepieces have been highlighted in different categories:
**TIME ONLY**
– **Bulgari** presents the Octo Finissimo 37 Satin-Polished Titanium, a slender interpretation of its ultra-thin series.
– **Chopard** showcases the L.U.C 1860, a tribute to its heritage with classic dress watch proportions.
– **Laurent Ferrier’s** Classic Origin Beige offers a softly rounded case complemented by a warm beige dial.
**ESSENTIAL**
– **Audemars Piguet** introduces the Neo Frame Jumping Hour, a unique rectangular design with an unconventional time display.
