The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has revealed the finalists for its first-ever CMJ Awards, scheduled to be held at a prestigious ceremony during the upcoming Autumn Trade Event in August.
These awards were established to honour the remarkable achievements and talents of CMJ’s retailers and suppliers, offering them a valuable platform to present their skills to both customers and the broader jewellery community.
In the Community Champion category, the shortlist features notable entrants including David Mellor Family Jewellers, Jeremy France Jewellers, JQ Diamonds, TH March & Co, Ntinga, Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery, Robertson’s Jewellers, Sinclairs Jewellers, Smiling Rocks, WATCHO, and Wongs Jewellers.
For the Craftsmanship & Heritage category, the selected jewellers include Artisan Jewels, Fitzgerald Jewellers, Hockley Mint, McWhirter the Jeweller, PA Jewellery, Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery, Saunders & Pughe, Titcombe Bespoke, Tivon, Wedds & Co, and Wongs Jewellers.
The Customer Experience Excellence category has finalists such as Anupam Jewellers, Fitzgerald Jewellers, Jeremy France Jewellers, Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery, Titcombe Bespoke, WATCHO, and Wongs Jewellers. Meanwhile, in the Digital Innovator category, contenders include Allied Gold, CR Gems, Created Brilliance, First Class Watches, GemIQ, Georgini Jewellery, Jarilo, Lionsorbet, Rauschmayer, River Mounts, Treasure House Company, Visualsoft, WATCHO, and Wongs Jewellers.
Additional categories will celebrate achievements in partnership, retail design, rising talent, and supply chain performance. The nominees for the Sustainability Champion award include Cooksongold, Gemex, Hockley Mint, Lucy Quartermaine, Smiling Rocks, and Titcombe Bespoke.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to champion and highlight the incredible work being done by independent jewellers and the suppliers who support them, and the vital contribution they make to the wider industry and our high streets.”
The winners will be determined by a panel of judges representing various members of the CMJ, with results announced at the event. Additionally, a Lifetime Contribution award will be presented, which remains open for nominations and will be selected by the CMJ head office team.
