Ball Watch Company has unveiled its latest offering, the Roadmaster Perseverer, a 40mm timepiece that draws inspiration from 1970s sports watches while delivering modern performance typically expected from tool watches.
The design features a distinctive angular case, with the top and sides presenting a brushed finish while the edges are polished, all complemented by a fully integrated bracelet that enhances its streamlined appearance.
The dial embraces a minimalistic style, showcasing a subtle horizontal tapestry pattern that adds depth. This is accentuated by 16 micro gas tubes of luminous H3 positioned on the hands and hour markers. This signature element allows the watch to glow in low-light situations without requiring any prior exposure to light, unlike conventional luminescent materials.
At the heart of the Roadmaster Perseverer is the automatic Ball calibre RR1103, which offers functions for hours, minutes, sweep seconds, and features a magnified date display at the three o’clock position. The movement is safeguarded by Ball’s innovative Amortiser anti-shock system, ensuring resilience against impacts of up to 5,000Gs. Additionally, a magnetic-resistant ring protects the mechanism from magnetic fields measuring up to 4,800A/m.
With its robust 12mm-thick case, this watch is water-resistant up to 100 metres and boasts a power reserve of 38 hours. It comes equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown.
