Sharjah is set to host the 56th edition of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show from September 24 to 28, 2025, at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This esteemed international exhibition aims to gather over 500 exhibitors from 21 nations, further establishing its status as a key event in the regional gold and jewellery industry.

The Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show has evolved significantly since its inception in 1993, transforming from a small gathering into a prominent feature on the global jewellery calendar. The event, now held biannually, has a legacy of over 55 successful editions, consistently drawing more than 87,000 visitors each time. It attracts a diverse audience, including jewellery retailers, wholesalers, watch aficionados, fashion buyers, and casual shoppers.

Known for its exciting attractions, previous editions of the show have included notable giveaways, such as luxury cars and diamond pendants, alongside spectacular exhibitions like the world’s largest gold ring. The exhibition not only showcases the allure of luxury items but also functions as an essential commercial platform, promoting trade and highlighting fine artistry in gold, diamonds, pearls, and high-end timepieces.

The upcoming exhibition is organised by Expo Centre Sharjah working alongside the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Covering an impressive area of 30,000 square metres, the show will feature around 1,800 designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals from the jewellery and watch realms. Countries represented will include the UAE, Italy, India, Turkey, and the US, among others. Notably, brands from Australia, Myanmar, and Pakistan will participate for the first time, indicating the show’s expanding global influence. National pavilions will highlight participants from India, Singapore, and Thailand, with Italy contributing over 50 exhibitors, showcasing a range of collections from classic gold jewellery to contemporary pieces.

The previous edition achieved record numbers, welcoming 87,000 visitors from 106 nations and generating sales exceeding AED 105 million (approximately USD 28.6 million). This attracted 1,400 industry professionals from 63 countries, reinforcing the exhibition’s appeal for buyers and brands in the luxury segment.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, remarked on the show’s continual growth, highlighting its strategic importance to the industry. He stated that the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show is vital for connecting local entrepreneurs with global markets while promoting innovation and trend forecasting. The upcoming edition seeks to blend exclusivity with insight, providing stakeholders a clearer understanding of future industry directions.

This year’s show will also feature an array of workshops and industry-focused sessions aimed at imparting knowledge about best practices in gold and jewellery production. This educational aspect intends to enhance participants’ competitive edge and support professional development within the sector.

Accessible to both trade visitors and the public, the exhibition will run from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on most days, with extended hours on Friday. With its blend of luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show is poised to remain a highly anticipated highlight in the regional event calendar, capturing global attention once again.
