Sharjah is set to welcome the 56th edition of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show from September 24 to 28, 2025, at the Expo Centre. This prominent international exhibition aims to draw over 500 exhibitors from 21 nations, further solidifying its status as a leading event in the gold and jewellery sector within the region.
The exhibition, which began in 1993 with a few participants, has transformed into a key event in the global jewellery landscape. Now held biannually, the show has seen more than 55 successful iterations, becoming a signature event for Expo Centre Sharjah. The event typically attracts more than 87,000 visitors per edition, which includes jewellery retailers, wholesalers, watch enthusiasts, fashion buyers, and everyday consumers.
Notable for its blend of unique attractions and high-impact experiences, previous editions have featured impressive giveaways, including luxury vehicles and diamond pendants, as well as remarkable displays like the world’s largest gold ring. Beyond its glamorous facade, the exhibition serves as a vital commercial hub, promoting trade and showcasing expert craftsmanship in gold, diamonds, pearls, gemstones, and luxury watches.
The upcoming show, organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in partnership with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will span 30,000 square metres, hosting over 1,800 designers, manufacturers, and professionals in the jewellery and watch industries. Attendees can expect to see a variety of luxury items, including gold, diamonds, and contemporary jewellery that reflects the latest global trends.
This edition marks a milestone with the debut participation of exhibitors from Australia, Myanmar, and Pakistan, a testament to the event’s expanding global reach. National pavilions from countries such as India, Singapore, and Thailand will feature key industry figures, while Italy will present more than 50 exhibitors. The diversity of the exhibition will showcase a broad spectrum of products, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern designs that cater to current market demands.
The previous iteration of the exhibition set records by welcoming 87,000 visitors from 106 nations and achieving sales of AED 105 million (approximately USD 28.6 million). It also saw the involvement of 1,400 trade professionals from 63 countries, further affirming its status as a preferred venue for buyers, investors, and luxury jewellery brands.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, commented on the steady growth of the show, highlighting its significance in connecting local businesses with international markets. He noted the event’s role in fostering creativity and innovation while allowing stakeholders to gain insights into future sector trends. The 56th edition aims to blend exclusivity with informative experiences to better equip participants.
In addition to trade showcases, the upcoming show will offer a comprehensive range of workshops and industry-focused sessions. These are designed to disseminate global best practices in jewellery manufacturing, providing attendees with practical knowledge to enhance their business acumen and competitiveness within the sector.
Open to both industry professionals and the public, the exhibition will run from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday. With its distinct combination of luxury, innovation, and craftsmanship, the Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show remains one of the most awaited events on the regional calendar, drawing global interest year after year.
