Fans of the Star Wars franchise celebrate May 4th, a date synonymous with their beloved series, and this year is no exception as Fossil unveils two exclusive timepieces. These new watches coincide with the anticipation surrounding the upcoming release of “The Mandalorian” featuring Grogu, set to debut on May 22.
The first offering is the Everett Mandalorian watch, priced at £329. This timepiece captures the essence of the formidable bounty hunter, Din Djarin. It boasts a robust 42mm gunmetal grey steel case, adorned with intricate details that echo elements from Djarin’s narrative. Features include a Clan Mudhorn emblem positioned at 9 o’clock, hands designed like cannons reminiscent of the Razor Crest, and a dial that mimics the appearance of Mandalorian armour.
Turning the watch over reveals unique Star Wars artwork illustrating the Clan of Two, along with a limited edition number ranging from 0001 to 3,412. Although this specific figure does not appear to connect to any known elements within the Star Wars universe, it may intrigue dedicated fans.
The watch is packaged in a collectible box marked with the phrase “This is the way,” a nod to the show’s memorable dialogue.
The second piece, known as the Neutra Grogu watch, features the beloved character Grogu himself. This 38mm watch showcases Grogu in a playful pose, levitating one of his favourite snacks—black and blue one-eyed frogs—before consuming it. The smaller frog serves as the minute indicator against a green dial, completing the whimsical aquatic theme.
Flipping this watch reveals a cheerful illustration of Grogu, as well as a limited edition number ranging from 0 to 2,752, a figure that remains unexplained by either Fossil or online sources.
