The Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend will showcase a striking timepiece: the H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Tourbillon, a limited edition crafted for Bucherer. This watch features a vibrant pink and blue design, drawing inspiration from both Miami’s bright skies and the Art Deco architecture of South Beach from the 1930s.

Bucherer and Moser have elaborated on the watch’s design, stating, “Inspired by the blazing sun, the turquoise Atlantic and the radiant façades of South Beach, a distinctive visual language takes shape.” They further detail the watch’s aesthetics, noting that “the blue fumé dial unfolds in a rich gradient, animated by luminous reflections that echo Miami’s shimmering light. A vivid pink flange framing the dial provides a purposeful contrast, heightening the watch’s sense of depth and energy.”

Serving as the official timekeeper for the Alpine Formula 1 team, H. Moser & Cie. is anticipated to attract interest from 28 potential buyers for this exclusive edition during the Miami event.

This sophisticated yet playful watch features a tourbillon positioned at six o’clock, complemented by a proprietary double hairspring for enhanced performance.

Its streamlined dimensions of 40mm by 10.4mm house the HMC 805 automatic movement, which employs a bi-directional pawl winding system. The rotor is crafted from 18-carat gold and features intricate engraving and skeletonisation, providing a power reserve of at least three days.

Available from today at Bucherer locations and online, the watch is priced at £59,900. It comes with a perforated fuchsia pink rubber strap, which can be swapped out for a white alternative.
