Full Story

Mondaine Watch Ltd. has unveiled a redesigned version of its Travel Alarm Clock, now featuring a lightweight aluminium case that enhances versatility without compromising its signature minimalist aesthetic.

The new iteration maintains the brand’s compact look, marrying reduced weight with the precision that has characterised Mondaine’s travel pieces for many years. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Official Swiss Railways clock, it showcases a crisp white dial highlighted by prominent black markers and the distinctive red seconds hand, enabling easy readability.

Incorporating a new dedicated alarm hand further enhances its functionality, reflecting the brand’s dedication to clarity, simplicity, and practical design.

The clock operates on a dependable quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping and reliable alarm performance. It is safeguarded by a hardened mineral crystal and secured with a robust screw-on case back made from aluminium.

With a diameter of 50mm and a height of 25mm, while weighing just 77 grams, this compact design allows it to fit seamlessly into luggage or travel bags without creating excess bulk.

Manufactured in Switzerland and retailing at £195, the updated Travel Alarm Clock embodies Mondaine’s philosophy of harmonising form and function, delivering reliable craftsmanship with an understated style suitable for any journey.

The Mondaine Group is a family-run enterprise that has prioritised sustainable production for over six decades. Since 2020, it has achieved CO2 neutrality across all of its operational emissions, and continues to blend heritage design with innovative practices in its esteemed collections of watches and clocks.
