Registrations are now open for Access 2027, a trade fair for the jewellery and watch sector organised by the Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ), scheduled to take place in the West Midlands on Tuesday, 23 February 2027.
The event, which is backed by insurance broker TH March, was first introduced earlier this year and garnered positive responses from attendees and exhibitors alike. One participant described it as a “breath of fresh air” for the jewellery industry.
Access 2027 will be complimentary for physical jewellery retailers in the UK and Ireland. The show aims to gather over 100 suppliers, providing independent retailers with a chance to explore new products, reconnect with current partners, and forge new business relationships. Additionally, attendees will have access to complimentary lunch and onsite parking.
Patrick Turner, the managing director of CMJ, noted that the event was conceived to meet the increasing need for suppliers to engage directly with retailers.
“We launched Access because we realised the pressures on suppliers to get in front of retailers were rising. We wanted to make sure that the opportunity remained with them to support both the CMJ’s own exclusive member-only events as well as widen the prospect for them of meeting potential new partners at an all-access platform for independent retail.”
Turner expressed confidence in the event’s future, stating, “After the success of this year’s show, we are confident that Access is fast becoming a key event in the industry calendar. If you missed this year’s show, we hope to see you in 2027.”
Designed specifically for independent retailers, the event aims to facilitate the discovery of suppliers and bolster commercial ties, while enhancing the CMJ’s tailored member events.
