The latest collection of watches inspired by the Harry Potter series, developed through a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, is set to launch in shops just in time for the festive season. Following the initial release in April, this new array includes timepieces that blend Timex’s classic Q Timex styles with elements from the beloved wizarding universe.
This collection consists of three wristwatches along with a pocket watch, priced from £249 to £349. Each model is infused with themes from the series, particularly the iconic Time-Turner, which Hermione Granger uses to manipulate time in “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.”
The standout piece, the Harry Potter x Q Timex Time Turner Chronograph, retails for £349. It features a 40mm stainless steel casing with a silver-tone dial, embellished with cut-out stars and black subdials that mimic the design of the mythical hourglass. The fixed gold-tone bezel is inscribed with the Time-Turner’s famous quote, complemented by a wand-shaped seconds hand, providing a whimsical touch. Additional features include a date window at three o’clock, luminous hands, and markers, all protected by a domed acrylic crystal, alongside a brushed stainless steel bracelet. The watch’s authenticity as a collector’s item is further highlighted by an engraved case back and a specially designed presentation box.
Another variant in the collection is the Harry Potter x Q Timex Time Turner, which is available for £249. This model showcases a 36mm stainless steel case framed by a black and gold-tone dial with star-shaped accents and a small hourglass at its centre, enhanced with silver glitter. The black bidirectional bezel holds the Time-Turner inscription, and it is completed with a black leather strap and luminous hands, adhering to a vintage aesthetic.
For those seeking a more dramatic flair, the collection also includes a Harry Potter x Timex Time Turner Pocket Watch, priced at £349. This 48.5mm gold-tone stainless steel piece is designed with a cover reminiscent of the Time-Turner and features a white dial that pays homage to the Hogwarts Clock Tower. It accompanies a classic single Albert chain and boasts a detailed engraved case back, with a finely finished interior.
Lastly, the Harry Potter x Q Timex Sorcerer’s Stone watch, priced at £279, draws inspiration from the legendary Philosopher’s Stone. With a 38mm black IP-coated stainless steel case and a striking red dial, it aims to evoke the essence of the mythical stone. This watch includes a day-date display and an exhibition window on its case back, setting it apart from the others in the range.
