Professional Jeweller‘s July 2026 edition is now live!
Thomas Sabo and the new addition to its Charm Club, Hello Kitty, adorns our front cover this month. Launching globally this month, the brand’s AW2026 collection delivers breadth, versatility and strong commercial appeal across the portfolio.
The high-flying jewellery businesses who will be bidding for glory at the 2026 Professional Jeweller Awards are detailed in the pages, as well as how you can have your say in the shortlist vote.
Our retailer interview focuses on a new venture. With over 40 years of experience in the luxury jewellery and watch industry between them, husband and wife duo James and Sophie Sellors are back on the scene. Their new venture, Clarindon Jewellers, came about through identifying an opportunity to create a retail experience that offers something more personal, agile and service-led. Find out how it’s going so far.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas certainly does not apply to the jewellery industry! This year, the two major trade shows, Couture and JCK, allowed retailers to browse a varied selection of pieces from talented brands, many of which stood out for embracing alternative trends in a crowded market. Spending time at the show made one thing very evident: business is booming.
Sometimes, when something is all around you, you don’t fully realise how special it is until you step back and really look at it. That’s exactly what happened in Jersey. Julia Williams, director at Jersey Pearl and FS Group and Melanie Mayer Davies, director at Rivoli Jewellers, saw an opportunity for the local jewellery businesses to collaborate to celebrate the island’s rich heritage. The Brilliance campaign was born a couple of years ago, but is still just as relevant today. We dive into how the jewellery businesses of Jersey are continuing to band together.
Last but not least, Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery’s managing director Rebecca Howarth lets us in on what her typical (or not so typical) day looks like.
