Breitling unveiled its new Lady Premier collection at an exclusive dinner held last night at Dorian, a popular venue in Notting Hill.
The event was co-hosted by filmmaker Nia DaCosta and costume designer Sandy Powell, in collaboration with A Rabbit’s Foot, a prominent publication directed by Charles Finch, which delves into the synergy between art and culture.
Among the attendees were notable women from London’s film, fashion, and arts sectors, creating a glamorous atmosphere ahead of the upcoming BFI Festival. Noteworthy guests such as Caitriona Balfe, Jenna Coleman, Tessa Thompson, Krysty Wilson-Cairns, Gala Gordon, and Niamh Algar joined the hosts in an evening that celebrated the narrative behind the Lady Premier timepieces.
The collection pays homage to Breitling’s 1940s Premier Fantaisies, incorporating elegant designs, sparkling diamonds, and ombré effects that embody contemporary femininity, drawing inspiration from founder Billy Breitling’s wife, Beatrice, who served as his muse.
Breitling has a history of connecting with influential women, famously seen on the wrist of actress Raquel Welch in the 1960s film Fathom.
Guests experienced a Michelin-star-grade menu crafted by Chef Max Coen, complementing an evening rich in artistry and dialogue. The stunning timepieces were prominently displayed along the marble bar at Dorian, whose sleek and luminous design provided an elegant setting for the event.
