Repossi has introduced the latest installment of its Limited Edition series, unveiling an elegant new earring design that emphasises the beauty of pearls.
This seventh edition, known as the Sphere Earring, reflects the Paris-based jewellery house’s commitment to fusing ethnic jewellery inspirations with modern aesthetics. The piece reinterprets traditional formats, offering a contemporary flair that is distinctive to the brand’s creative vision.
In its design, the Sphere Earring harmoniously incorporates elements from the existing Pearl Variation ring and the innovative Serti sur Vide collection, where diamonds appear to float in midair. The earrings feature graceful curves that embrace the earlobe, while the pearls are strategically placed to gently graze the jawline, creating an artful silhouette.
The Limited Edition series provides creative director Gaia Repossi with the opportunity to experiment with new ideas in limited quantities, distinct from the brand’s permanent offerings. Previous editions have taken inspiration from architectural designs and modern art, demonstrating the brand’s versatility.
Founded in Turin in 1957 by Costantino Repossi, the brand relocated to the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris in 1986. With Gaia Repossi at the helm as artistic director since 2007, the company continues to thrive under its third generation of family leadership.
Repossi’s acclaimed collections, including Serti sur Vide, Antifer, and Berbere, are noted for their minimalist aesthetic paired with bold craftsmanship, solidifying the brand’s position in the high-end jewellery market.
