Full Story

Jewellery retailers Goldsmiths, Swarovski, and Austen and Blake have all secured new leases at Meadowhall, following an 8.5% increase in jewellery sales at the shopping centre up to August of this year.

Goldsmiths has renewed its lease for a 5,571 square foot store located on Upper High Street, which features a dedicated Rolex boutique, in addition to its main offerings and a selection of pre-owned watches. Swarovksi has also extended its commitment to a 1,223 square foot unit on Lower High Street.

The positive sales trend at Meadowhall highlights a growing consumer interest in jewellery during this period, with experts suggesting that this rise may be linked to increased disposable income and changing shopping habits. This revitalisation of the retail sector is seen as a promising sign for the coming months in the face of ongoing economic uncertainties.

As more brands invest in their presence at Meadowhall, local shoppers can look forward to a broader selection and enhanced shopping experiences in the jewellery category.
