Full Story
The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) is set to introduce an initiative called Mentorship Monday aimed at supporting retailer members ahead of upcoming trade events.
Designed to accompany a full day of trade show activities, Mentorship Monday aims to foster the growth of retailers’ businesses and enhance industry connections. It will be accessible to all attending retailers and seeks to provide them with essential resources.
Participants can look forward to a series of sessions, hands-on workshops, and peer learning opportunities, all intended to equip attendees and their teams with innovative concepts, new competencies, and critical insights to bolster their future success.
Each participant will benefit from training valued at over £3,000, free of charge. Additionally, businesses will receive £100 for each attendee to help cover travel expenses.
The event will commence with a session focused on unlocking potential sales growth, featuring discussions led by TH March and Goodman Bros regarding effective revenue-enhancing strategies.
Following this, digital marketing expert Thirty Three Percent will reveal straightforward methods for retailers to enhance their online visibility.
In the afternoon, attendees can engage in practical workshops led by various suppliers, including GemIQ, Icatcha, Goodman Bros, Freeform Fabrication, and Thirty Three Percent.
Patrick Turner, managing director of CMJ, commented on the initiative, stating: “We created Mentorship Monday to help retailers invest in their greatest asset – their people. We hope that CMJ retailers will see this as a great opportunity to bring staff along and give them valuable training that costs them absolutely nothing.”
