Full Story

Bamford London has taken a notable step in its international growth by appointing Collective Horology, located in Ventura, California, as its inaugural authorised retailer in the United States.

The brand, established by George Bamford and situated in a five-storey townhouse in Mayfair, is renowned for its distinctive watches that blend British creativity with Swiss craftsmanship, all infused with a playful spirit.

Collective Horology has emerged as a strategic partner for this expansion. Launched in 2018 by Asher Rapkin and Gabe Reilly, the Ventura-based retailer has quickly gained recognition as a leading voice in independent watchmaking. Its portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed brands such as IWC, URWERK, Zenith, H. Moser & Cie., and Oris.

In addition to retailing, Collective Horology is known for its Openwork podcast and the Open House event, a unique watch show in LA dedicated specifically to independent manufacturers.

Bamford London’s timepieces are distributed globally by ChronoTime, which manages the brand’s official distribution channels.

Customers in the US can purchase Bamford watches either at the Collective Horology boutique in Ventura or through their online platform.
