The highly anticipated film “Supergirl” is set to debut in cinemas this weekend, featuring a soundtrack that includes the classic track “Call Me” by the renowned rock band Blondie from the 1970s.
This collaboration is not the first of its kind between the iconic comic book character and Debbie Harry’s influential band. The two have also come together through a unique timepiece created by Timex, the Supergirl x Blondie x Q Timex watch. This striking accessory showcases a graphic dial adorned with a pop-art image of Harry, encased in a stylish black stainless-steel frame. The bezel is notable for its engraved names, display both “Blondie” and “Supergirl” in a distinctive intergalactic typography.
The watch features a quartz movement and sports a 36mm case size, coupled with a studded leather strap reminiscent of the punk scene at New York’s CBGB during the late 1970s.
