Independent retailer Robert Gatward Jewellers has expanded its offering after introducing the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned programme at its Windsor boutique.
The move enables the retailer to offer authenticated pre-owned Rolex watches backed by Rolex’s official certification process, providing customers with access to a curated selection of eligible timepieces that are at least two-years-old.
Each watch available through the programme has been inspected and authenticated according to Rolex standards, remains in its original condition without modifications other than those carried out by Rolex, and is supplied with a new two-year international Rolex guarantee.
Robert Gatward said the launch represents a significant milestone in its long-standing relationship with the Swiss watchmaker and reflects growing demand for trusted routes into the pre-owned luxury watch market.
The Windsor boutique’s initial collection includes a range of sought-after references drawn from across the Rolex catalogue, with each piece selected for its condition, configuration and collectability.

“It gives our clients complete confidence when purchasing a pre-owned Rolex watch, supported directly by Rolex’s own certification and by our experience as an authorised retailer.”
The retailer has also unveiled a dedicated Rolex Certified Pre-Owned area within its Windsor showroom.
Developed in collaboration with Rolex architects, the space incorporates a number of design elements associated with the programme, including an Emperador marble feature wall, bespoke display cases and interiors inspired by Rolex’s signature aesthetic.
The launch comes as the certified pre-owned watch sector continues to evolve, with luxury consumers increasingly seeking transparency, provenance and manufacturer-backed guarantees when purchasing pre-owned timepieces.
