Nominations have officially commenced for the 2026 Power List, a prestigious initiative by WatchPro that seeks to honour influential figures and businesses within the US watch industry.
This annual recognition will encompass five unique categories, each aimed at highlighting a specific area of impact in the watch sector.
The Brand Champions category will acknowledge the key players leading some of the world’s foremost watch brands. This includes innovative CEOs and executives who are pivotal in shaping strategic direction, fostering innovation, and expanding global market presence.
Retail Titans will focus on notable retailers and boutique owners whose business acumen, exceptional customer service, and significant market influence set industry standards for success.
In the Inspiring Independents category, independent retailers and entrepreneurial brands will be celebrated for their boundary-pushing designs and mechanical innovations that captivate broader audiences with their creative visions.
The Vintage and Pre-Owned Pioneers segment is dedicated to the experts, dealers, and platforms revitalising the secondary market, highlighting their role in preserving heritage while enhancing the value of collectible watches.
Lastly, Industry Tastemakers will recognise the journalists, editors, content creators, and influencers whose narratives and insights shape trends and engage watch enthusiasts around the globe.
WatchPro encourages professionals within the industry to nominate deserving peers and industry leaders, with the aim of creating a Power List that accurately represents authentic influence and recognition within the global market.
The eagerly anticipated 2026 Power List will be revealed at an exclusive, invitation-only event during the JCK tradeshow, creating a key networking opportunity for senior leaders, brands, and major decision-makers in the sector.
Nominations will remain open until 29 April, and participants are urged to submit their entries promptly to guarantee their nominees are included.
