With an attendance exceeding 25,000 trade representatives from 94 nations, the INHORGENTA 2026 event has solidified its status as Europe’s premier marketplace for jewellery, watches, and gemstones. The watch sector, in particular, has shown significant growth, becoming a strategic focal point for the fair.
The Timepieces hall showcased a robust array of over 120 watch brands, featuring independent artisans alongside established names and major international corporations. This carefully curated setting has begun to assert a strong influence in the marketplace.
Notable returning brands included MeisterSinger and Maurice Lacroix, further evidencing the fair’s expanding global significance. Other significant participants included respected labels such as Tutima Glashütte, FHH partner brands Piaget and Oris, as well as global players like Casio, Citizen, and Fossil.
Doris Mancari, managing director Europe at Maurice Lacroix, commented, “INHORGENTA was a huge success for us. We welcomed visitors from all over the world to our stand. That is a strong signal of the fair’s international appeal.” Meanwhile, Tanja Brassler, managing director of MeisterSinger, emphasized the fair’s efficiency, stating, “In just a few days at INHORGENTA, we meet a large number of our retail partners from our direct markets, such as Germany and Austria, as well as our international partners from the United States, India and across Europe. This efficiency makes the fair a perfect platform for us.”
This year’s INHORGENTA placed a strong emphasis on craftsmanship through live demonstrations, workshops, and an educational programme that underscored artisanal skills within the watch sector. The event’s collaboration with the Fondation Haute Horlogerie enriched this initiative, offering a Cultural Space that included discussions, interactive displays, and practical learning opportunities.
The event also celebrated its commercial and cultural diversity with initiatives like the Watch Boutique, French Pavilion, and Salon Suisse, providing engaging environments for brands such as Eberhard & Co., Mühle Glashütte, Ebel, BA111OD, and Favre-Leuba.
The INHORGENTA AWARD introduced expanded watch categories, including Mechanical Watch of the Year and Luxury Watch of the Year, showcasing the industry’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Through significant international engagement from industry leaders and a focused approach on craftsmanship and creativity, INHORGENTA has successfully positioned itself as a vital platform for watchmaking. The extensive variety of brands and market segments represented within a single hall is unparalleled within Europe.
The next INHORGENTA is scheduled to take place in Munich from 19-22 February 2027. Further details can be found at https://inhorgenta.com/en/.
