Full Story
British indie watch manufacturer Studio Underd0g is set to rekindle its partnership with retail brand Time+Tide by unveiling a new collection of pizza-inspired timepieces. This latest offering introduces two models, the Burnt Pepper0ni and the Classic Cheese, which build on a whimsical concept that originated as an April Fools’ prank in 2023, quickly evolving into a highly sought-after novelty within the watch community.
The inaugural Pizza collection, launched last year, was met with phenomenal demand and included a unique Half n’ Half Pizza model that successfully raised $17,000 for the charity Mary’s Meals. Now, the brands aim to entertain fans with what they describe as the “finale” to this playful series.
The Burnt Pepper0ni model presents a bolder aesthetic, taking inspiration from the original Pizza Party Pepper0ni watch but adding a more subdued charred theme while retaining vibrant design elements. It comes complete with a PVD-coated case and offers versatility with both a leather strap and a Milanese mesh bracelet.
In contrast, the Classic Cheese model opts for a more straightforward approach, drawing inspiration from traditional New York pizza culture. Its dial reflects the appearance of a cheese pizza, featuring a distinct missing slice at 3 o’clock, symbolizing the opening of Time+Tide’s new Discovery Studio in New York.
Both watches come equipped with a 38.5mm case and a manual-winding chronograph movement, mirroring the joyful spirit of their predecessors, while maintaining an accessible pricing structure. The Burnt Pepper0ni is available for £700, while the Classic Cheese is priced at £625.
The collaborative pieces will debut at Time+Tide Discovery Studios, with launch events scheduled in New York, Melbourne, and London, prior to their release in each respective market.
