Nomos Glashütte has unveiled exclusive 18-carat gold versions of its renowned Ludwig and Tangente timepieces, infusing traditional elegance into two standout collections.
The Ludwig Gold model is regarded as the most classic in Nomos’s portfolio, featuring a combination of Roman numeral markers and refined dimensions, complemented by a hand-wound movement developed in-house. This watch operates on the DUW 4001 manual-wind calibre, which boasts a 53-hour power reserve and incorporates Nomos’s innovative swing system escapement.
There are three distinct references for the Ludwig Gold: the Ludwig Gold Ref. 211 and Ludwig Gold Doré Ref. 212, both housed in 35mm cases, alongside the Ludwig Gold 33 Ref. 210, which features a more compact 32.8mm size and a transparent sapphire crystal back.
All Ludwig Gold editions come with dials made of white silver-plated material, accompanied by Horween Shell Cordovan leather straps. The hands of the watches are available in either tempered blue or gold tones, depending on the specific model.
In addition to the Ludwig range, Nomos has released the Tangente Gold Neomatik models crafted in 18-carat yellow gold, reinterpreting their Bauhaus-inspired design in a luxurious format.
The Tangente Gold Neomatik timepieces are powered by the remarkably slim DUW 3001 automatic calibre, measuring just 3.2mm in height. This movement features a 43-hour power reserve and bidirectional winding capability.
The Tangente Gold Neomatik watches are offered in three dial options: a white silver-plated design with blue hands, a white version with gold hands, and a ruthenium variant featuring gold hands. These 35mm models include sapphire crystal casebacks and solid gold clasps, underlining Nomos’s intention to present these pieces as timeless choices for formal occasions.
