Full Story

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Orient Star is set to unveil a selection of limited edition watches throughout the year, embracing elements of the brand’s rich history.

Among the highlights is the exclusive M34 F8 Date Meteorite Dial, which will only see 255 units produced globally. This particular model is notable for its first-time use of a meteorite dial, crafted from material derived from the Muonionalusta meteorite.

Another addition to the anniversary collection is the M34 F8 Full Skeleton, which is restricted to 430 pieces worldwide. This timepiece showcases a striking black and grey gradient dial finished with a matte surface, along with a fully transparent design that reveals the intricately finished movement inside. The layered tones and textures are intended to reflect the profound stillness of the cosmos.

Expanding the M34 series is the M34 F7 Small Seconds, with a total production of 500 units worldwide. This model features a dial enhanced with a pressed sandblast texture that mimics the appearance of fine metal particles, complemented by a two-piece design and a meticulously finished small seconds subdial. The silver print on the hands aligns beautifully with a modern mix of railway track design and contemporary colours.

Highlighting the brand’s maritime legacy is the M42 Diver 1964 1st Edition, limited to 660 pieces. This watch is a revival of one of Orient Star’s most cherished models, which previously garnered significant acclaim from watch enthusiasts. The dial, inspired by the ocean under a starlit sky, boasts a black gradient that shifts from blue-grey at the centre to darker shades towards the edges.

Rounding out the anniversary selection is the 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Contemporary Date model, with a limited release of 1,200 pieces. This watch features a refreshed version of a classic design, showcasing a simplified power reserve indicator and an elegantly nuanced dial colour.
