Bremont has launched a new boutique in the duty-free section of Terminal 8 at New York’s JFK Airport, a key location for international travel.

The store supports 16 daily British Airways flights and aims to connect with a diverse array of international travellers. Bremont’s representatives expressed their enthusiasm for this opening, stating, “We are proud to officially open our newest retail location at JFK Airport Terminal 8, bringing Bremont to one of the world’s busiest international travel hubs.” They highlighted the boutique’s design, which allows visitors to engage directly with their collections, catering to both newcomers and long-time admirers of the brand.

This boutique is a part of Bremont’s broader strategy to expand into the luxury goods market. In addition to their own offerings, the store showcases watches from Avolta, a Swiss company previously known as Dufry and recognized as a leader in global travel retail.

Avolta’s robust presence spans over 75 countries, with more than 5,100 retail outlets and an impressive revenue of CHF 13 billion, underlining the significance of this burgeoning sector in the aviation commerce landscape.

The timing of Bremont’s boutique launch coincides with Bob’s Watches, a US-focused specialist in pre-owned luxury timepieces, opening its own outlet in Terminal 8 in collaboration with Avolta. Other notable brands, including TAG Heuer, Breitling, Norqain, and Montblanc, also have a presence in this vibrant shopping area, enhancing JFK’s role as a luxury shopping destination for travellers.
