Full Story

De Beers London has unveiled its latest high jewellery collection, Vibrations, which draws inspiration from the dynamic and transformative qualities of inland water. This collection spotlights diamond sourcing regions such as Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, and Canada.

The introduction of the first chapter, named Echo, took place during Paris Haute Couture Week, coinciding with the launch of the brand’s flagship store located on Rue de la Paix.

At the heart of the Echo collection is an innovative necklace featuring a 1.12-carat Fancy Intense Blue diamond from Namibia. This design can be reconfigured into six distinct styles, including a modern tiara and detachable earrings. Complementing this piece is a striking ring adorned with a 5.21-carat D Flawless diamond. Notably, this collection marks the debut of diamonds sourced through the GemFair initiative within De Beers’ high jewellery offerings.

Another segment of the collection, known as Riverborn, comprises 12 exclusive pieces that utilise rough and polished diamonds from artisanal miners in Sierra Leone. The collection also introduces the Modern Lines set, which offers a fresh interpretation of De Beers’ hallmark diamond styles. Included in this range are a necklace, bracelet, and drop earrings that blend polished round brilliant diamonds with rough diamonds in triangular and portrait shapes. The design employs white-gold fil couteau links and a spectacle setting technique to give the illusion that the diamonds float elegantly on the skin.

Furthermore, the Vibrations collection showcases a series of Toi et Moi rings, with a standout piece featuring a unique pairing of an octahedral rough diamond and a cushion-cut polished diamond, both originating from the same rough stone. Other rings in this collection juxtapose pear and oval diamonds with organic rough diamonds from Sierra Leone, set in textured Florentine-engraved bands of white or yellow gold.

Central to De Beers’ “Origins” strategy, which included a rebranding from De Beers Jewellers to De Beers London in early 2025, are the principles of sustainability and traceability.

Emmanuelle Nodale, chief executive of De Beers London, remarked: “Echo, the first set of our Vibrations High Jewellery collection, captures the emotion of water in motion through a transformable masterpiece centred on a rare Fancy Intense Blue diamond. It also incorporates a selection of artisanally mined diamonds sourced through GemFair — connecting exceptional design to the people and places at the very beginning of a diamond’s journey.”

Echoing this sentiment, Sandrine Conseiller, chief executive of De Beers Brands, stated: “Bringing these diamonds to consumers through this new collection celebrates the beauty of natural diamonds while telling a story of the producers’ empowerment and transformation.”
