**O.G. Unveils Limited Edition Deep Space Blue Watch**

British watchmaker Oliver Gallaugher has introduced the Deep Space Blue, a limited-edition timepiece with only 35 units available. This model builds upon the initial Deep Space watch released in 2023, showcasing the brand’s evolving design philosophy.

Gallaugher established O.G. following extensive development over ten years, taking cues from his family’s engineering, decorative arts, and literary heritage. This unique background informs the creation of watches that challenge traditional horological norms. Collaborating with skilled artisans and suppliers from around the globe, he prioritises innovation, thematic depth, and finishing excellence in his designs.

The design of Deep Space Blue marks a significant evolution from its predecessor. The original Deep Space watch introduced O.G.’s aesthetic with a distinctive spherical case and innovative construction. The new model features comprehensively redesigned elements, including improvements to the case, dial, and movement.

Housed in a 38mm case crafted from 904L stainless steel, the Deep Space Blue maintains an elegant profile at just 8.8mm thick. While it retains the proportions of the original, enhancements include a mix of polished and sandblasted finishes that elevate its overall appearance.

The watch’s dial offers a captivating ‘shooting stars’ effect, achieved through meticulous techniques such as brushing, blue lacquering, engraving, and rhodium treatment. Each dial boasts a distinctive engraved star pattern, encouraging observers to explore its nuances akin to gazing at a starlit sky.

At its heart is the newly developed LTM5000-G manual-wind movement, crafted in partnership with LTM SA in Fleurier, and named in honour of Gallaugher’s grandfather. This movement provides a robust 60-hour power reserve and features elaborate decorative finishing, including specially designed perlage patterns and enlarged Geneva stripes, representing a significant upgrade over the movement in the 2023 model.

A notable element carried over and enhanced is the luminous minute track, which is ingeniously engraved directly onto the sapphire crystal, complemented by newly designed hands forged from pure 904L steel.

The Deep Space Blue is priced at $12,800 and can be purchased via olivergallaugher.com.
