Full Story

Maurice Lacroix has unveiled its latest collaboration with Geneva-based creative studio Label Noir, introducing the AIKON Manufacture Skeleton Label Noir, which is limited to just 100 pieces.

This partnership represents the third venture between the two Swiss brands. Their previous collaboration in 2020 resulted in a limited release of the AIKON Automatic, of which only 50 pieces were made and quickly sold out. A subsequent collaboration in 2024 saw Label Noir reinterpret the MASTERPIECE Skeleton, producing 288 monochromatic designs that also proved to be highly sought after.

Established in 2011, Label Noir has carved a niche in the luxury watch sector by customising timepieces with elegant black tones accented by vibrant colors. The studio excels in a contemporary design ethos that combines watchmaking expertise with innovative materials.

The newest model draws inspiration from Maurice Lacroix’s AIKON Manufacture Skeleton launched in 2022. It boasts a 45mm stainless steel case, finished with a distinctive DLC coating that enhances its characteristic black aesthetics. Turquoise details are strategically incorporated, featuring prominently on the external flange and small seconds hand at 6 o’clock, as well as in the Super-LumiNova applied to the hands, which provides a striking contrast against the dark elements of the watch.

At its core lies Maurice Lacroix’s proprietary ML234 automatic skeleton movement, clearly visible through both the watch face and the exhibition caseback, which is crafted from smoked sapphire crystal. This movement delivers a 48-hour power reserve, operates at a frequency of 2.5Hz, and showcases essential components, including an openworked barrel and skeletonised mainplate.

Additionally, the watch offers a water resistance of up to 100 metres and comes with two interchangeable straps: a dark grey nubuck leather option and a turquoise FKM rubber strap, both easily swapped out thanks to the Easy Strap Exchange system.

The price for this limited edition watch is set at £6,900 or CHF 6,500, available through the official Maurice Lacroix website.
