The year 2025 is unlikely to be remembered fondly by the watch industry, as retailers focus on clearing surplus stock during the vital post-Christmas sales before the arrival of new models next year.

While discounting typically carries a negative connotation in the luxury sector, many watch brands are easing their restrictions, encouraging retailers to boost sales during this important festive season.

Prominent names traditionally associated with high price points—including Hublot, Breitling, TAG Heuer, Omega, and Zenith—are now offering discounts of 25% or more on various timepieces.

Below are some notable discounts discovered in the end-of-year sales.

**Sales from Watches of Switzerland and Goldsmiths**

Operated under the Watches of Switzerland Group, both Goldsmiths and Watches of Switzerland feature a variety of discounted watches, available both new and pre-owned.

One standout piece is the **Hublot Big Bang Sapphire Chronograph**, revered for its innovative design. Alongside debate regarding its avant-garde aesthetics, Hublot’s proficiency in crafting sapphire cases is impressive, particularly when gold prices are soaring. This exceptional model, offering visibility into its Unico 2 automatic movement, is typically priced at £62,000 but is currently available for £46,500 after a 25% reduction.

Both retailers are also showcasing a **Square Bang Unico Sapphire**, down from £86,000 to £64,500, as well as a **Spirit of Big Bang Magic Sapphire**, now priced at £60,750, reduced from £81,000.

On the more affordable side, the **Seiko 5 Sport Automatic** is seeing a remarkable price drop of 43%. Previously £280, this model is now available for £159, featuring a 42.5mm steel case and a classic black, gold, and white colour scheme.

**Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso One Duetto**

The slim and elegant **Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso One Duetto**, measuring 40mm x 20mm, showcases a rose gold design. This hand-wound timepiece serves as two watches in one, appealing to both men and women who appreciate art deco. It is currently available at £18,525, following a 25% price cut from its regular price of £24,700.

**Discounts at Beaverbrooks**

Beaverbrooks, catering to traditional jewelry lovers, is also offering significant discounts on brands like Zenith, Gucci, Breitling, and Omega. A remarkable deal includes the **Parmigiani Toric**, previously priced at £26,290, now available for just £13,145—a 50% discount. Though predating the collection’s redesign, this stunning rose gold watch combines craftsmanship with timeless style.

Additionally, customers can find the **Citizen Classic 40mm Open Heart** at half-price, now £224 from £449, featuring a self-winding mechanism and an attractive guilloche dial.

The iconic **Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean**, often associated with James Bond, has also been discounted. This particular model, featuring a striking 39.5mm Sedna Gold case, is now priced at £19,360, reduced from £24,200.

**Fraser Hart’s Offerings**

Fraser Hart is showcasing ex-display pieces from renowned brands such as Panerai and IWC, with discounts ranging from 20% to 25%, alongside appealing offerings on new models from Grand Seiko, Omega, TAG Heuer, and Breitling.

The modern **TAG Heuer Monaco**, a contemporary version of the classic racing chronograph, is available for £6,000, down from £7,500.

The **Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph**, featuring a captivating green sunray dial, is now just over £6,000 after a 22% discount, presenting an excellent opportunity for those considering the brand’s chronograph range.

With these extensive discounts available, the last shopping weeks of 2025 provide a significant chance for watch enthusiasts to enhance their collections.
