British jeweller Pragnell has unveiled an expanded range of its handcrafted Charms collection, introducing new designs that feature astrological, symbolic, and talismanic elements, all meticulously crafted at its English workshops.
Among the latest offerings are charms inspired by constellations and zodiac signs, along with significant religious and cultural symbols, including the Ankh Cross, the Endless Knot, and the Hand of Fatima. The Ankh Cross, a prominent symbol from ancient Egypt that dates back to around 3,000 BC, is often referred to as the “key of life” and is thought to provide protection.
The updated collection is crafted using lost-wax casting techniques, highlighting the artisanal skills employed in Pragnell’s UK facilities. The inspiration behind these charms draws from the Pragnell family’s extensive collection of vintage and period jewellery, accumulated over many years.
The Charms range also encompasses various birthstones, initials, and ingots, which are designed to be worn alone or layered on chains for a personalised touch.
A representative from Pragnell commented, “The new collection reflects its commitment to artisanal production, with the majority of its jewellery made in Britain.”
