Vicenza will host the next edition of Vicenzaoro January (VOJ) from 16th to 20th January 2026, marking the commencement of the international jewellery and watchmaking calendar. The event will take place at the Expo Centre, which is nearing the end of its revamp.
Matteo Farsura, who oversees global exhibitions for the jewellery sector, highlighted the event as a “business platform and an innovation, training and discussion hub” for industry stakeholders. The motto “People · Product · Places” encapsulates a unique ecosystem that has established Vicenzaoro as a leading name in industry excellence over the past 70 years. Farsura added that this heritage will be enhanced with the launch of the VO Awards, aimed at recognising creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship among exhibitors.
At the same time, T.Gold, a premier exhibition focusing on jewellery technology and machinery, will also be staged in hall 9 before its future incorporation into the renovated Expo Centre in September 2026. VO Vintage, a lounge catering to enthusiasts of vintage jewellery and watches, will welcome attendees from 16th to 19th January.
The event is set to be defined by three central themes. The ‘Product’ will showcase a fusion of superior craftsmanship, innovative design, and high-quality materials that represent both Italian excellence and notable international contributions. ‘People’ refers to the talents and connections within the global community that drive industry advancement. Finally, ‘Places’ denotes the physical and symbolic spaces where jewellery is created, including the Expo Centre, Vicenza, and various national manufacturing districts that foster collaboration and inspiration. “A narrative that binds legacy, vision, value, and innovation throughout the IEG event,” Farsura remarked, emphasising the integral role of all participants, from exhibitors and visitors to industry experts and young talents.
Vicenzaoro January will provide an unmatched display of new trends in the jewellery industry, including a wide variety of offerings from high-end jewellery to artisanal products, watchmaking, components, and packaging. This comprehensive boutique exhibition is where leading professionals will unveil their latest collections and innovations to global buyers. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to make instant purchases through the Palakiss cash & carry service.
The event will feature a rich programme of discussions and seminars designed to enhance industry understanding, turning the Expo Centre into a hub of innovative thinking. Highlighted events include Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, an independent observatory providing extensive insights into jewellery market trends, along with technical seminars hosted by CIBJO, the international jewellery federation.
A key highlight of the January edition is the introduction of the VO Awards, which will celebrate excellence in jewellery production by recognising creativity, sustainability, and innovation among participants. Open to both Italian and international exhibitors in categories like ICON, LOOK, and CREATION, finalists will be selected by a diverse and expert jury. The standout pieces will be displayed during VOJ26, where visitors will also get the chance to cast their votes for their favourites. Applications for the competition must be submitted by 30th November, with further details available on the event’s website.
As preparations for Vicenzaoro January continue, registration for business attendees is now open, with a strong emphasis placed on the buyer experience. The ongoing refurbishment of hall 2 is being carefully managed to minimise disruption, ensuring that tailored services and a blend of physical and digital experiences will maximise each visitor’s opportunity during the event. The Jewellery Connect platform, accessible via an App, will help industry stakeholders navigate the exhibitor catalogue, schedule appointments, and enhance their overall experience.
Vicenzaoro VIOFF, an accompanying programme of events co-organised with the city of Vicenza, will offer a warm welcome to visitors and an opportunity to explore the city’s historic centre through art, culture, and gastronomy, celebrating the essence of Italian lifestyle. Additionally, the Jewellery Museum will present a new exhibition at the iconic Basilica Palladiana, a site recognised by UNESCO, enriching the experience for visitors from both Italy and abroad.
