Vicenza will host Vicenzaoro January (VOJ) from 16th to 20th January 2026, marking the commencement of the year’s international jewellery and watchmaking events. The gathering will take place at the Italian Exhibition Group’s Expo Centre, which is undergoing final preparations for an extensive redevelopment.
Matteo Farsura, the Global Exhibition Manager, emphasised the event’s significance, stating, “Our Jewellery Boutique Show is a business platform and an innovation, training and discussion hub for the sector’s players.” He introduced the slogan “People · Product · Places” to illustrate the interconnectedness of the industry. This concept highlights the rich heritage of Vicenzaoro, which spans over seven decades and positions the event as a benchmark for excellence in the sector. Farsura also announced the launch of the VO Awards, which will celebrate the creativity, sustainability, and craftsmanship of participating exhibitors.
The exhibition will also feature T.Gold, a prominent showcase for jewellery technology and machinery, located in hall 9 prior to its future integration into the revamped Expo Centre set for September 2026. VO Vintage, a B2C lounge dedicated to vintage jewellery and watches, will run concurrently, inviting collectors and enthusiasts from 16th to 19th January.
Vicenzaoro January 2026 will revolve around three essential themes. The “Product” signifies a fusion of high-quality manufacturing, design innovation, and technical skill, showcasing both Italian excellence and international craftsmanship. “People” represents the diverse talent and relationships within the global community that foster the industry’s progress. Lastly, “Places” refers to the physical and symbolic environments where jewellery is created, including the Expo Centre and the local manufacturing regions. “A story that unites heritage, vision, value and innovation under the banner of the IEG event’s strong and globally recognized identity,” Farsura concluded.
The exhibition will feature an unmatched range of innovations, from high-end jewellery to artisanal work, covering every aspect of the jewellery supply chain. Attendees will experience previews of collections, new product launches, and innovative solutions aimed at global buyers. Additionally, the Palakiss cash & carry option will allow for immediate purchases.
A comprehensive programme of events, including talks and technical seminars, will enrich the Expo Centre, making it a hub for industry culture and knowledge. Notably, Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting will provide in-depth insights into future trends in the jewellery market, alongside sessions delivered by CIBJO, the international jewellery federation.
The inaugural VO Awards will acknowledge excellence within the jewellery industry, promoting attributes such as creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Open to both Italian and international exhibitors, the competition will feature eight categories, with selected finalist pieces showcased during VOJ26. Buyers and visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourites on the event’s first two days. Applications to enter are accepted until 30th November, with detailed regulations available online.
Business visitors can now register for Vicenzaoro January 2026, which aims to enhance the buyer experience. Ongoing enhancements to hall 2 will not disrupt the event’s operations, focusing instead on providing tailor-made services and integrating both physical and digital elements to maximise opportunities. The Jewellery Connect platform, available as an app, will enable attendees to navigate the exhibitor catalogue, schedule appointments, and optimise their event experience.
Additionally, the Vicenzaoro VIOFF will present a series of collateral events throughout the city of Vicenza, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle through shopping, art, and culinary experiences. The Jewellery Museum, located within the UNESCO-listed Basilica Palladiana, will also enhance the visit for both Italian and international attendees with its new exhibitions.
