This groundbreaking event features over 200 exhibitors from India and various countries, presenting an array of fine jewellery, gemstones, and innovative designs.

During the opening ceremony, Suhel Ajaz Khan, India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, emphasized the significance of the exposition in fostering deeper ties between the two nations. He remarked on the importance of the Strategic Partnership Council in enhancing collaborative efforts across industries. Kirit Bhansali, the Chairman of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), highlighted the vast opportunities that exist for synergy between India and Saudi Arabia within the gems and jewellery sector.

Khalid Al-Sheddi, a representative from the Ministry of Investment in Saudi Arabia, expressed that the timing of SAJEX is ideal for strengthening trade and investment relationships, aligning well with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative.

The event attracted numerous dignitaries, including Princess Nourah Al-Faisal, high-ranking Saudi officials, and representatives from chambers of commerce in Jeddah, Makkah, and Riyadh, along with members of various diplomatic missions. A special message from Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Commerce and Industry in India, was also conveyed, extending best wishes for the success of the exhibition.

In addition, a distinctive jewellery-apparel showcase created by Indian designer Ashfaq and his team, with support from Saudi collaborators, featured prominently alongside a vibrant live performance by the Indian cultural group VIHARA.

Set to run from 11 to 13 September 2025, SAJEX 2025 offers an exceptional venue for product display, business networking, and the establishment of long-term partnerships within the thriving Middle Eastern jewellery market, inviting business entities to seize the opportunity to explore innovative prospects.
