Full Story

Laura Ashley has unveiled its latest jewellery collection, named Waters Edge, in collaboration with Gecko Jewellery. This marks the third partnership between the brands and features pieces crafted exclusively from recycled sterling silver.

This new collection follows two earlier successful launches, with previous lines also incorporating sterling silver. According to Gecko, the prior collections have seen remarkable demand, prompting a waiting list among stockists.

Inspired by the serene beauty of moorland landscapes and autumnal hues, Waters Edge showcases designs that reference classic prints from the Laura Ashley archives, including Broadoak, Cathedine, and Llanelli.

Highlighting the collection is the Broadoak locket necklace, adorned with motifs of oak leaves and acorns enhanced with gold plating. The interior and reverse of the locket can be personalised through engraving. Additionally, a matching pair of hoop earrings complements this piece.

The Cathedine set features a trio of items—earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet—each adorned with intricate floral and foliage designs. The Llanelli necklace stands out with a kingfisher motif, also embellished with gold plating and a green aventurine stone.

Gecko Jewellery emphasized their commitment to sustainability through this collection, ensuring that every piece is made from recycled sterling silver and ethically sourced materials.

This collaboration is part of Laura Ashley’s ongoing initiative to reintroduce designs inspired by its rich heritage, coinciding with the recent revival of its homeware and fashion offerings.
