Gemporia, a jewellery retailer renowned for its commitment to ethically sourced gemstones, is celebrating its 21st anniversary with an array of live streaming events and online activities. Established in 2004 as a family-operated jewellery channel, the company has evolved into a prominent player in the global market.

The anniversary festivities, which will run until 26 October, are being featured on Gemporia’s shopping channel and website. These events include special promotions, insightful guest appearances by gemstone experts, and showcases of collections that highlight the history of the company’s sourcing practices.

Throughout its two decades in business, Gemporia has successfully introduced a variety of rare gemstones to the UK, notably Australian opal—which involved a two-year sourcing journey—along with Turkish Csarite and the Wobito Snowflake Cut.

Scott Stone, Group Managing Director, remarked, “Turning 21 is a remarkable achievement for any business. To reach this milestone as an employee-owned company is something we’re incredibly proud of. Our birthday celebrations are our way of thanking our loyal customers and showcasing the craftsmanship and passion behind each piece.”

Looking to the future, Stone expressed enthusiasm about fostering a more focused and collaborative company structure: “I’m excited about shaping a Gemporia that’s more focused and collaborative than ever – working with experts across the globe to bring our passion for genuine gemstones to life.”

With a recent shift towards majority employee ownership, Gemporia continues to prioritise transparency and sustainability in its operations. The company is dedicated to offering “jewellery with integrity,” which reflects both the natural origins of its materials and the artisanal skill that goes into each creation.

Headquartered in the West Midlands, Gemporia serves a diverse international clientele, ensuring that every piece of jewellery it offers celebrates the authenticity and uniqueness of natural gemstones.
